SCP 10 to 13- £17,777 to £18,207 (pro rata) – 40 working weeks per year; 33.5 hours
Level 2 may be considered for the right applicant
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant and successful school in North London as a Teaching Assistant from September 2017. Whitefield School has a significant number of students with special educational needs. You will be expected to work with students with physical needs who need support with learning as well as personal care.
Within the classroom you will work under the guidance of teachers. You will be required to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students.
Ideal candidates will:
- be a graduate
- be highly enthusiastic, energetic, proactive individual who has the passion and ability to motivate and inspire the pupils
- have the desire to work with students with special educational needs
- have excellent, written and verbal communication skills and be able to relate well to all members of the school community
