Hours / Weeks

36 hours per week, Mon to Thursday 8:30 am – 4:15 pm.

Fridays 8.30-4.00pm (including 30 minutes lunch)

39 weeks per year

Behaviour Support Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an exciting school in North London as a Pastoral Support Officer.

Purpose of the Job

To provide effective and efficient pastoral support to the Coordinator of Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 in order to promote positive attitudes to learning and to behaviour that maximises the achievement and wellbeing of students in the year group.

The post holder will be under the direction of the behaviour support manager and the overall direction of the Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Behaviour.

  • Carry out induction processes for new arrivals
  • Investigate behavioural incidents, organising statements and record them electronically
  • Support in the organisation of presentation evenings and track and monitor rewards data.
  • Monitor and plan interventions on behavioural data
  • Organise and contribute to behavioural logs, ‘round robins’ and Pastoral Support Plan meetings and follow-up work
