It is the foundation stone of society and plays an increasingly important and visible role in virtually all areas of modern life. Social and environmental responsibilities, business operations and international codes of conduct are all determined and upheld by legal systems.
Studying law will enable you to pursue a career in the legal professions and improve your legal understanding of everyday life. This course gives learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life and to allow access to employment opportunities in the legal sector.
As well as classroom lessons, Law students have been taken on visits to a wide range of legal institutions; The Old Bailey, The Supreme Court, The House of Commons, High Courts and Magistrates Court. They have also received talks in school from Magistrates, Judges and Barristers. All of these opportunities are essential to deepen students’ understanding of the legal system.
