Students from Whitefield School were invited to speak on the Victoria Derbyshire show, BBC 2 on 11th January 2017 following the recent poll commissioned by Barnado’s, a leading children’s charity.

The poll found that three quarters of children between the ages of 11 and 15 believe that they would be safer if they had age-appropriate sex and relationship education (SRE) in school.

MP Sarah Champion was also in the studio as part of the discussion.

The students were so impressive and received facntastic feedback across Twitter.

The school has been already been approached by Barnardo's because of this TV appearance. Barnardo's have asked Sebi to become one of their Youth Ambassadors. Congratulations to Mr Humayun and all four students.
