Claremont Road Food Hub

Posted on: 19/05/2020

I am writing with a brief introduction to UK Mutual Aid and the Claremont Road Food Hub in Cricklewood.
UK Mutual Aid is a grassroots group of London-based volunteers, with the ability to connect volunteers with those needing help while self-isolating during COVID 19.

We use two simple forms to sign up to be a volunteer and to request help. The secure data received on these forms is then used to very quickly and easily pair volunteers with those requesting help through postcode matching.

Working together Jesus House, Claremont Free Church and UK Mutual Aid have opened the Claremont Road Food Hub in NW2. We are preparing and delivering freshly cooked and nutritious meals and dry food parcels to those in need living nearby and across the borough of Barnet.

Deliveries are each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Food pick ups from 12.00-2.00pm on a Saturday.

To request food, email helpline@mutualaid.co.uk or go to helpme.mutualaid.co.uk and fill in a form about what you need; or you can call 020 31 377 488 and leave a message to make a request.
Kind regards,

Jon Woolfson
