2020 Examination Outcomes

We are very pleased with the excellent Center Assessed Grades awarded to students at Whitefield in the summer. Students' hard work and determination during their time at Whitefield was acknowledged and reflected in the results awarded to them. We are delighted to welcome so many of our Year 11 students into our Sixth Form this term.

Staff at Whitefield worked tirelessly to ensure the Centre Assessed Grades reflected the ability and potential of all our students. By using a range of data and knowledge of our students, staff were able to provide accurate grades for all students and subsequently many received the highest possible grades.

We achieved some of our best results in recent years, especially in Maths and Science, with 100% of students achieving grade 4 or above in Triple Science. Students achieving both English and Maths at a grade 4 increased by 15% and a grade 5 or above increased 8%.

Overall students achieved 24 grade 9's with seven top grades in English and Four in Maths.

Our Sixth Form students also achieved outstanding results. The average grade of A level students was a C+ with 13% of grades at A*-A and 75% at A*-C. A number of subjects achieved 100% grade A*-C at A Level including Art, English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physic. Students also attained top grades in vocational subjects with three Distinction* and four Distinctions.
